Your smile is YOURS…
I remember telling the Psychopath…you took away my smile!
He gleefully smiled and shrugged his shoulders which was his own pat on the back for his cruelty.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
Next…time…next week…next person.
A shoulder shrug is a nonverbal gesture where one is indicating indifference “I don’t care”.
These are emotional vampires…they suck the life out of people…and then dismiss your normal reactions to their abnormal behaviors…they enjoy seeing painful responses.
I had to go on a journey to find my smile again…because I myself couldn’t believe what I had just gone through.
But I didn’t realize how easy that would be…because I am my smile…I always was.
How did I allow someone to take away my smile.
No one can help you find your smile again…but yourself.
I managed to do it myself…
I didn’t give myself a choice.
THAT journey got me here…talking about it…sharing my testimony
There are many different types of abuse and they all overlap each other with similar profound long-lasting emotional scarring.
Physical abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse. psychological or emotional abuse, financial or material abuse etc.
All abusers have to pry into your emotions to inflict any type of abuse…they look for a vulnerable opening and dig in.
When the abuse happened these girls and boys were ALL very young, impressionable, emotionally disturbed, no supportive family, looking for a break in modeling etc.
Add to that list…just divorced, just broken-up, widowed, abusive history…here comes a predator to ‘help’ you out.
You won’t understand the sense of hopelessness and helplessness until you are there…
These girls are there…
These girls have been struggling for decades to find their smiles again.
These girls cry when they look at their childhood pictures…because they remember THEIR smiles.
A very important lesson learned….
***You NEVER put yourself in a position for someone else to take away your smile ***
I hope your corrupt administration will manage to help these girls get their smile back…even if it may be too late for a handful of them…it isn’t too late for the others.
NONE of them deserved this and their predators deserve to be held responsible for their disgusting abuse.
It won’t give them back their years wasted and smiles…but it’s a step in the right direction on their healing process.
Say a prayer for these survivors🙏🫶
They have been dealt a hand NO ONE deserves.
